Ahh racing, what fun it is! Counter-Strike makes it even more fun by including some skins relating to racing and cars! In this article, we’ll look at our favorite car-themed skins in CS2 and even some Workshop skins that we see as potentially scoring some points in the game.
CZ75-Auto | Pole Position

We start off quite aptly with the Pole Position. The weapon shows a checkered flag along with a racing red outline on top of a very apropos. Although, we have to be a bit nitpicky here. The checkered flag is shown to indicate the end of the race. The Pole Position is the first position on the starting grid… INCONSISTENT. That’s a stop-and-go penalty right there.

Dual Berettas | Twin Turbo

These go all in on the Italian theme, with a fake Ailitalia (“Anitania”!) sponsorship and the white-red-and-green flag colors. It’s a fun skin that really goes over the top with sponsorship typography, even giving the racing team a name—Olivia Racing. Skins like this really let creators shine, and we’re all for it!

Tec-9 | Fuel Injector

We weren’t sure whether to include this one, but with a name like this, how could we not. A deep racing yellow covers most of the skin and turns the Tec into a dynamic piece of kit. While this isn’t perfect by any means, we still like it, especially the engine gears on the magazine.

AK-47 | Bloodsport

The Bloodsport family seems like it was created for a very futuristic racing competition. Something like Death Race perhaps? But it still has that automotive feel courtesy of the sponsorships plastered all over it, as well as an awesome racing red. It’s not quite THAT automotive, but hey, it will work.

FAMAS | Roll Cage

The Roll Cage is used in cars like stock cars to protect drivers from rolling, and this skin features a rather dark ending with the livery being covered in blood. It’s a nice skin though, and we know just who it would fit (although it’s unlikely the blood would be his own blood).

SG 553 | Integrale

Another awesome pure racing skin, the Integrale reminds us of Williams F1 liveries of around 10 years ago. Blue, red and white it really “sells itself” as a racing skin, and we love it. It’s a fun idea realized to perfection.

SSG 08 | Turbo Peek

The only skin to actually show a goshdarn car, the Turbo Peek refers to the wicked peeks of the likes of XANTARES that kill you before you can even move a muscle. Synthwavey in style, this skin really reminds us of Need For Speed: Underground. And we love that vibe!

The Best Racing-Themed Steam Workshop Skins
Before we wrap up, we have some racing-themed Workshop skins to show you. If you like them, remember to support their creators by liking and sharing their work—perhaps one day, we’ll see these skins in the game!
AK-47 | Retro Racer

The Retro Racer is a fun idea that harkens back to the days of yore. Created by moonfighter, responsible for the likes of the Trigger Discipline, it features rather understated racing colors in what would be a very simple livery. But sometimes, simplicity is great. And this is the case here.

M4A4 | Formula CS

Created by cryo, fefe and deM0, responsible for many of the skins on this list, this skin really goes all in on the racing theme, filling the skin with sponsors. The creators explain that this is a version of the world where CS is an alternative to racing. But hey, we think both can work, especially with THAT racing red.

MAG-7 | PitStop

Reminding us of the recent Alpine liveries, the PitStop is a really fun evolution of the racing skin concept. Chequered flag? Check Sponsors? Check. Racing numbers? Check. Vibrant colors? Check. This really turns the MAG-7 into a racing car, and we love it!

And that’s all for this one. Did we score 25 points, or do you think we should get a stop-and-go penalty? Let us know on our socials, and don’t forget to race for some of these skins on Key-Drop!
