Fire Skins in CS2: Flaming Inventory + Stickers

KeyDrop Team

We’ve all been told that we shouldn’t play with fire… But in this one instance, it’s not only allowed, but encouraged! We’re talking about fire-themed skins in CS2, of course—here’s your guide to putting together a flaming loadout that’ll fire up your matches on Inferno and beyond. Turn up the heat with the best fire skins in CS2!

Pistols: Fire Skins in CS2

Pistol rounds will be lit with these fire-themed skins:

Desert Eagle | Blaze

Price: $740–$1000

We’re starting off with a classic, added to Counter-Strike all the way back in 2013 with the Arms Deal update. Blaze features a black background with airbrushed flames with a glossy, Anodized Airbrush skin finish—it’s pretty much the essence of a fire-themed skin… with a price tag worthy of a Deagle.

P2000 | Fire Elemental

Price: $8–$28

Unleash the inferno with Fire Elemental! The skin shows a creature made of fire (a fire spirit?) against a contrasting dark blue background. The lively, deep colors make this skin all the more eye-catching—go for the Factory New version if you want to see the design intact and the colors at their most vibrant.

P2000 | Obsidian

Price: $1–$7

Here’s a slightly different take on fire: the design shows liquid lava cooling into solid obsidian. Still, the red part looks a lot like flames!
If you want another option for the p2k, consider the P2000 | Imperial Dragon—it doesn’t show fire, but the color scheme and glossy finish give it a fiery appearance.

Glock-18 | Bunsen Burner

Price: $0.25–$1.40

Who said flames have to be orange? In this design, they’re blue, like the gas fire of a Bunsen burner—a gas burner used in chemistry labs to heat substances and sterilize tools. Thanks to the Patina finish used in this skin, the design looks equally good in any wear condition.

Tec-9 | Re-Entry

Price: $0.40–$1.50

Originally named Red Blast, this Tec skin combines orange flames with a light-blue background that fades into black towards the back of the gun. The rest of the gun is plain black, making the flames a definite centerpiece. Definitely the best fire-themed option among Tec-9 skins!

R8 Revolver | Blaze

Price: $1.80

Another Blaze, this time for the Revolver… and much more affordable! The design is exactly the same as that for the Deagle, with an identical pattern of airbrushed flames. Perfect choice if you’re into using the R8.

Assault Rifles: Fire Skins in CS2

Fire up the big guns! Here are some flaming options for your assault rifles:

M4A4 | Howl

Price: $3600–$6000

Ah, the infamous Howl. In the unlikely event that you’ve never heard its story, here’s the lowdown: the original M4A4 | Howl was a skin designed by members of the Steam community. Very soon after the skin made it into CS:GO, it turned out to feature stolen artwork as its centerpiece. Not cool.

It was too late to remove the skin from the game, as some M4A4 | Howl skins had already been unboxed by this point, so Valve reacted by banning the skin’s “creators”, updating the design, and making the skin Contraband. The same was true of the corresponding sticker, Howling Dawn. The Contraband part meant that no new Howl skins would ever be unboxed. As a result, there are very few of them around, giving each a seriously hefty price tag.

Where were we? Ah right, fire. Howl features a fiery wolf made almost entirely of flames, and the background includes abstract shapes that also resemble fire here and there. And Howls are not as impossible to get a hold of as they may seem—with enough luck, you can even win them on Key-Drop!

M4A4 | Hellfire

Price: $43–$70

Here’s a more accessible option for the M4: Hellfire, with a cartoon devil, burning skulls, and flames along the bottom side of the rifle, most clearly visible on the mag. Nice, humorous skin with a fiery color scheme and eye-catching graphics. Still, it’s not everyone’s style, so if you’re looking for something a bit more serious, you can also consider M4A4 | Magnesium, with its silver flames on a dark gray background.

M4A1-S | Chantico’s Fire

Price: $15–$140

This one’s not only fiery in name and design, but also colorful enough to make your eyes burn. It features a design inspired by the Aztec culture, as is also indicated by the name: in the Aztec religion, Chantico was the goddess of the fire that burns in the family hearth.

SG 553 | Darkwing

Price: $0.30–$2

Darkwing’s design doesn’t have any flames, but the colors and the glowing orange accents on the bottom half of the rifle strongly suggest heat and fire. The top part of the design consists of black feathers, perhaps belonging to some mythical creature with a lair in a fiery cave. Nice.

Sniper Rifle: CS2 Fire Skin

There’s only one fire-themed sniper skin in CS2 that’s worth recommending—luckily, it’s for the AWP:

AWP | Wildfire

AWP | Wildfire CS2 skin

Price: $35–$150

And now it’s time for another modern classic. Wildfire shows a fiery orange dragon (the logo of Operation Wildfire) against a dark background. The red accents all over the rifle add depth and detail to the design, and the glow effect around the dragon is actually pretty impressive.

Battle-Scarred Wildfires are considerably cheaper than the other wear conditions, but there’s a reason for that: by the time the float maxes out, only the dragon remains visible, with much of the background replaced by the dull gray of the base coat.

SMGs: Fire Skins in CS2

Get ready for some sustained fire with these SMG skins:

MAC-10 | Heat

Price: $2–$7

Released in 2014 with Operation Phoenix, Heat makes the MAC look as if it came straight out of the forge. Each piece of metal has a red and orange edge that appears to glow, as if still, well, red-hot. This even applies to the strap, which poses some serious questions, but hey—you have to suspend your disbelief with this skin anyway. It looks good and it’s fire-themed, so there!

P90 | Vent Rush

Price: $0.40–$1.60

Vent Rush makes me think of the Alien movies every time, or more broadly, any horror movie about being trapped on a space vessel. It’s gritty and dark, featuring a pipe, tape, cables, and—you guessed it—flames.

P90 | Chopper

Price: $0.50–$2

Good news for P90 fans: if Vent Rush isn’t quite your style, you have Chopper to fall back on. This one’s much simpler, with dark blue flames against an orange background… which reverses the “orange flames on dark background” color trend we’ve seen so far. Simple, effective, worth adding to your collection if you’re into P90 skins.

UMP-45 | Blaze

Price: $20–$42

Here’s the final Blaze, both on our list and in general—there are three Blaze skins in total. You know the drill: black background, airbrushed flames, nice shine to the finish, and this time, a mid-range price.

Shotguns: Fire Skins in CS2

Blast’em with the best flaming shotgun skins:

MAG-7 | Heat

Price: $0.35–$3

Another Heat skin. The principle behind this one is the same as with MAC-10 | Heat: each piece of metal is supposed to look as if it’s still hot around the edges. Works as well on a shotgun as it does on an SMG.

MAG-7 | Firestarter

Price: $0.50–$3.70

And now for something completely different (give yourself a high five from me if you got this reference): Firestarter, which looks unassuming at first… But has two secret powers—the first one is making The Prodigy play in your head, and the other is this:

That’s right: as float goes up, the skin appears to “burn”, replacing the shabby white paintwork with black and red burn marks. It’s one of the most creative uses of float in CS2 and definitely worth recommending as an Easter egg for a fire-themed loadout, especially if you get it in Battle-Scarred condition.

Nova | Wood Fired

Price: $0.07–$0.20

Here’s a more toned-down design. Wood Fired makes excellent use of Nova’s “classic shotgun” look by keeping the original grain of the wood. It appears to be painted green, with black flames that seem to have been burned into the wood. Beautifully crafted, creative skin for literally a few cents. What more could we want?

XM1014 | Incinegator

Price: $1–$13

We’re back to less serious skins with Incinegator, which shows alligator teeth and flames and has an excellent name. Is the gator breathing fire? Who knows—either way, this combo works surprisingly well, and comes together to create one of the more popular XM skins in CS2.

XM1014 | Teclu Burner

Price: $0.70–$2.60

We had a Bunsen burner above, in the form of a Glock, now it’s time for a Teclu burner, from the same creator. (Their skin collection is called Hot Rod, but don’t let that confuse you, it’s actually nothing to do with the red Hot Rod skins—Valve often changes skin names when accepting them into the game.) In real life, a Teclu burner is a chemistry lab burner similar to the Bunsen, but capable of creating larger flames and reaching higher temperatures.

Stickers

If you want to add more heat to a fire skin, or even set a non-fire skin ablaze, fire stickers are here to help you out! Here are our top-five picks, followed by a gallery of all the other fire stickers in CS2.

Sticker | Howling Dawn

Price: $1200+

The Howling Dawn sticker was released alongside M4A4 | Howl, and it too featured the stolen artwork of a howling wolf. Just like with the M4 skin, Valve replaced the artwork with their own image and made the sticker Contraband, meaning that no new Howling Dawns would ever be unboxed.

Sticker | Howling Dawn

This makes Howling Dawn an exceptionally rare find—especially since, as you well know, once applied, stickers can’t be removed intact, so the pool of unused Howling Dawn stickers is extremely limited. We do have them at Key-Drop, though—you can drop a Howling Dawn from the Alpha case. Good luck, and hey, there’s always the Baby Howl, which looks almost like Howling Dawn… if you squint hard enough.

Sticker | Dragon Lore (Foil)

Price: $10

Another sticker paired with a famous skin, this one shows a fire-breathing dragon with celtic/fantasy patterns and decorations we all know and love from AWP | Dragon Lore. Luckily, the sticker is nowhere near as expensive as the AWP skin, so you can add some dragon-made flames to your loadout for only around $10.

Sticker | Kill Count

Price: $2.50

The Kill Count sticker shows a tally mark made of lit matches. While we wholeheartedly wish you more than five kills at a time (get five of these stickers, maybe?), Kill Count is simple enough to look good on just about any weapon. If you’re after a basic sticker with flames and little else, this is your best bet.

Sticker | Incineration (Holo)

Price: $5.50

Incineration features a flaming skull that some of you will recognize… If you paid special attention while playing Halo, that is. The sticker uses pretty much the same image as the Incineration kill medal from Halo 3: ODST. To unlock it in Halo, you’d have to kill an enemy that has been set on fire.

Sticker | Liquid Fire (Holo)

Price: $40

Liquid Fire comes from the Operation Riptide Sticker Collection, and if you look very closely, you’ll notice that it has eyes. Several pairs of eyes, even. The flame in this design is made of a series of fish, arranged into the shape of a flame. The Holo version looks cool because it adds orange to the mix of colors, but the all-blue paper Liquid Fire is a nice choice, too.

Other Fire Stickers

Discussing every fire sticker in CS2 in detail would keep us here for ages, so let’s just go with a gallery—here are the rest of the fire stickers in the game. Note that some of the Holos have paper versions as well, though we didn’t include them here to avoid duplicates. Enjoy!
