Top 6 Most Expensive CS2 Skins + Stickers [2024]

KeyDrop Team

With CS2’s release, a big question on your mind must be which skins are the most expensive: what are the gems that if unboxed will make you filthy rich? Well, in this article, we’ll show you the most expensive CS2 skins, focusing on “skin types” rather than specific rare one-of-a-kind skins, which we’ll probably talk about in the future. We also decided to skip Factory New gloves, as they are typically the most expensive “regular” skins out of the bunch.

Sound good? Let’s see what we’ve got in store for you.

The Most Expensive CS2 Skins

AWP | Gungnir

This blue bombshell out of the Nordic Collection has become the new top-tier AWP. It’s not hard to understand why, either. It’s rare like the D-Lore, while having a much better-looking design and vibrant colorway. No wonder that it can cost up to $15,000 Factory New.

AWP | Dragon Lore

The classic “Holy Grail” of Counter-Strike skins remains just that in CS2. It’s hard to say whether the Dragon Lore is expensive because of its looks (personally, I feel it’s a little bland) or its rarity and the legend behind it. Either way, this one costs up to $14,000 Factory New, with souvenir versions being more expensive.

AK-47 | Wild Lotus

There’s a pattern here, and that pattern is—rare skins are expensive, no matter how beautiful they are. The Wild Lotus is subtle and in this chicken-and-the-egg case, the price definitely came first. With the St. Marc collection being a rare catch and the Wild Lotus being a top-tier skin, it’s no wonder it’s expensive, even if the bragging rights far exceed any aesthetic value the skin may bring. Factory New Lotuses cost around $12,000.

M4A4 | Howl

The Howl is a beautiful skin with a rich history that makes it extremely expensive. After the skin arrived in the game via the Steam Workshop, it turned out that one of its designers stole the centerpiece wolf graphic from a DeviantArt user. This came with a DMCA notice that made Valve change the skin’s look and remove it from cases. This means the skin is exceedingly rare, especially when paired with IBuyPower stickers. (More on them later) Factory New Howls go for around $7,000.

AWP | Medusa

The ultimate skin of the Gods & Monsters collection is pretty bland compared to some newer offerings (and may be called an exorbitantly expensive Atheris), but at the same time has a classy vibe to it. While its price (like all the other skins here save the Howl) stems from the rarity of its collection, the Medusa is still aesthetically pleasing. Factory New Medusas will set you back around $6,000.

AWP | The Prince

If you’re looking for the best of both worlds, the Prince, like the Gungnir, is both extremely pretty and intricate, giving a royal vibe that makes it really live up to its name. If you’re looking for a skin to give you some class and have a lot of money to invest in it, this AWP may be a fun buy for around $4,000 Factory New.

The Most Expensive CS2 Stickers

However, we must admit one thing: the most expensive items in CS2 aren’t actually skins. They’re stickers from a bygone era representing long-gone teams. The famous Katowice 2014 capsule stickers can cost around $100k. You’re unlikely to find them in-game, and the capsules these stickers can be found in are virtually extinct. With every use of a sticker removing it from the game, these items become even rarer. The most expensive ones are:

Titan (Holo) | Katowice 2014

Titan was one of the OG French teams in CSGO, featuring the likes of shox, NBK, KennyS and ScreaM over its existence. It disbanded in 2016, 2 years after the capsule was launched. This, along with the sticker’s iconic look, makes it compete with the second sticker on our list for the title of most expensive. At the time of writing, prices for this sticker start at around $75k and easily reach $100k+.

iBUYPOWER (Holo) | Katowice 2014

Often paired with the Howl, this is another item that is marred in scandal. iBUYPOWER used to be the top North American team featuring NACS legends skadoodle, steel, dazed, AZK, and swag. Unfortunately, in 2014 it turned out that the latter 4 participated in a match fixing conspiracy, rendering them banned from Counter-Strike for life. You can see why this would make people pair this “illegal” sticker with the Howl, but the fact that its red wildcat logo fits perfectly with the red wolf makes it an even better fit. Given its rarity and backstory, it’s no wonder that this sticker is so expensive ($75k–$90k).

Reason Gaming (Holo) | Katowice 2014

Reason’s history is interesting—over the years it had rosters from Denmark, Sweden, and the UK, and now it’s back in the scene with an NA team. However, the most legendary Reason team is the one from 2014 led by none other than legendary in-game leader Karrigan. Reason still exists, but has never returned to the major, making its iconic orange sticker an expensive get ($70k).

Vox Eminor (Holo) | Katowice 2014

Coming from down under, Vox Eminor is another disbanded organization, making its logo exceedingly rare. Sporting a lineup of the most legendary Aussie Counter-Strike superstars including current desk analyst Spunj and epic riflers AZR and jks, this sticker is a treat for underdog-loving old heads, making it the final item on this list, worth over $50,000.

How to Get Expensive CS2 Skins

Well, that depends. Some, you can buy on the Steam Marketplace as well as external websites, but we’re guessing you might not have thousands of dollars lying around. Opening free CS2 cases may be a solution, but it’s unlikely. You can also try your luck on outside CS2 case opening websites like Key-Drop. Who knows, perhaps you’ll be able to get that dream Gungnir that way!
